What we do

Renewing a medical license means tracking hours, required topics and deadlines that differ by state, plus a DEA registration, life-support cards, board certification and more, each on its own clock. EdPortus keeps all of it together:

  • a renewal plan for each state license, MD and DO, in all 50 states;
  • a wallet for your credentials and certificates, with reminders before anything expires;
  • state guides that explain each Board’s requirements in plain words, with their sources.

We are also preparing our own courses for physicians. They are being prepared for certification and are not approved for credit yet; no course is offered for credit until its approval is in place, and the credit wording then comes word for word from the approving body.

Who we are

EdPortus is a new, physician-led company. Our medical director is Dr. Parth Patel, a family physician. He reviews every course before it is offered.

Course cases are written from scratch; we never use real patient information.

How we choose sources

Requirements come only from the place that sets them: the state Board’s own website, the statute and the Board’s published rules. Every fact carries the date we last checked it, the sources are re-checked every week, and anything the published text does not settle is marked “Confirm with your Board.” The details are in How we verify requirements and our editorial policy.
