- Section 456.013(7), F.S., and Rule 64B8-13.005(1)(c): 2 hours covering root-cause analysis, error reduction and prevention, patient safety, and the Board's five most misdiagnosed areas (oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology, infectious disease and neurology related conditions). Any provider of AMA Category I or II credit may offer it.
DO (osteopathic physician)

- Section 456.013(7), F.S., and Rule 64B15-13.001(1)(a) and (3)(b): a Board-approved 2-hour course covering the Board's five most misdiagnosed conditions (inappropriate prescribing of controlled substances; reproductive-related conditions; wrong site/patient surgery; spine-related conditions; cancer-related conditions). Distance learning counts only if you can interact with the presenter.
