- 63 O.S. 3162(C) and (E): every health care provider associated with an inpatient health care services entity (a hospital or similar inpatient facility) must watch the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision's online presentation on the Medical Treatment Laws (hydration and nutrition for incompetent patients, nondiscrimination in treatment, advance directives, do-not-resuscitate orders and assisted suicide prevention) at least once in each consecutive two-calendar-year period. The presentation is at least 1 hour, ends with a verification quiz and gives a dated certificate; give a copy to the facility. The time counts as part of, not in addition to, required CE. OAC 435:10-15-1(a)(5) repeats the requirement for Board licensees.
