- Renews every year; licenses expire at June 30 each year (renewal opens May 1; renewals after June 30 pay a late fee; unrenewed licenses are canceled at the Board's September meeting).

- The rule
- OAC 510:10-3-8(b)(3) and 63 O.S. 427.10(G): an osteopathic physician registered with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) to recommend medical marijuana completes at least 2 hours of CME on medical marijuana before recommending and every year after. CME must be Board-approved or certified by the ACCME, the AOA or another organization the Board recognizes. Since January 1, 2026, a physician must be on the OMMA registry to recommend.
MD (medical doctor)
