Know exactly what each state license needs before it renews
Hours, required topics and the renewal date for every state license, MD or DO, worked out from each Board's own rules.
Who it is for
Physicians who hold one license or several, and want to stop re-reading Board websites before every renewal.
How it works
- Pick your state, MD or DO, and the expiration date on your license. A few short questions cover the rest, such as whether you hold a DEA registration.
- See how many hours are left, which required topics are still open, and how many days you have, all for this renewal cycle.
- Add what you have already done. Your plan updates as hours and topics are filled, and reminders come before the date.
What you get
- Requirement data for all 50 states, for MD and DO licenses, taken from Board websites, statutes and rules
- Required topics with their hours and how often they are due (every renewal, first renewal only, DEA registrants only, and so on)
- States with no CME requirement for renewal are said plainly
- Several licenses in one plan, with what counts toward more than one
- The sources for every state, and a "confirm with your Board" note wherever a rule is unsettled
- The planner works without an account; save it to your account to keep it

Questions
Where do the requirements come from?
From primary sources only: each state Board's website, its statute and its rules. Every state lists its sources, and a weekly check re-reads every one it can reach and flags any page that changes so it can be re-verified; Board sites that block automatic checks are re-checked by hand. Read them in the state guides or on the state requirements page.
Does EdPortus tell me I am done?
No. Your plan is based on what you have told us and on the Board's published rules. Where a rule is unclear, the plan says "confirm with your Board". The Board always has the final word.
I hold licenses in several states. Can I plan them together?
Yes, with Pro. Each license keeps its own hours, topics and dates, and the plan shows which of your completed activities count toward more than one license.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. The renewal planner works signed out. Create a free account to save your plan and get reminders.
